Sunspec brackets I've never heard of those do you have pics? Where did u get them?

edit: Damn just googled them those are nice! I'm going to get me some my home made ones are kinda getto.

Now that I saw the pics of it mounted I think they would look cleaner mounted somewhere else. Perhaps on the firewall? Do u know how much they're going to cost?

i hope to be able to mount them in a place where they wont look like "another" part in the way. i wish to do it on the firewall or some other place. I just bought the whole kit, you can find what i bought in the for sale sec.

The more I see of coils mounted on top of the valve covers, the more I like my solution of mounting them down low behind the radiator support.

You guys are bringing back some memories... I lived in Cypress near the intersection of Grant and Louetta for 9 years back in the 80's and 90's.

It would be a major problem on my setup having them on the valve covers. I need to pull them every once in a while to adjust the solid roller valve train.

I had one of the original Electromotive "SDI/Opti-Eliminator" setups with a 4-coil pack and controller mounted on the driver's side valve cover and it sort of cluttered things up a bit. That's why I copied a buddy of mine and put the 8 LS1 coils under the radiator. Its not a good location if you have a blower though, because if you lose a belt, you wipe out the plug wires.

yea i dont think my NA car will have a prob with the blower lol

i am definetely going to look to see if i can mount them under neath the radiator. Is there a good bolt location i can use to be able to bolt it up? i have the sunspec brackets, so which bolts can i use?

I made a bracket and ran threaded rods that the coils will fit over. This was 6 years ago before anyone heard of the LTCC.
