Now it won't start. No surprise there.
Due to circumstances beyond my control my car was left sitting around for a year. It was not prepared to sit around so all the fluids and gas in there is old. What are some basic things I should do to try to get it started again?
I've recharged the battery and it seems okay. The car just cranks but won't start up.

you can check for fire at the plugs, if you have it there try to spray some gas in the intake ,open the throttle blades and spray some in from a spray bottle. if it starts and runs for a second better get ready to pull the injectors because they are stuck or clogged up and will not spray gas in the engine. have had this happen a few times with friends cars after they let them set up. gas nowadays aint like it used to be. this will be a start.

Okay, I can hear the fuel pump priming and smell gas when i try to crank it.
But there is no spark. Not even from the coil. Should i change out the coil and ignition module?
