Motor swap
Motor swap
I have a 95 and I`m swapping a guy motors. His motor is out of a 93. What all will I have to change to get his motor to work in my car. I will be swapping everything ( Intake, TB, etc,).
Thanks

Re: Motor swap
Assuming you are keeping your 95 PCM and wiring harness and tranny, and simply swapping engines:
Oil pressure sensor is in a different location. PCV valve routing will be different. Location of AIR connections on the passenger side is different. Your AIR pump is bolted to the front of your engine, his will not be there. 93 will not have the "vent" connections on the Opti. Since you are changing the intake manifold (and I assume keeping your 95 wiring harness), you won't run into any problems with the batch flow injectors. If you just keep you MAF plugged in where it is, you don't have any changes for MAF vs. speed-density.
Probably a few more differences... look for the "93 differences" thread that was recently updated, and it might help you think of a few more items.
