You can bore the motor .030 and keep your rotating assembly and valve train. The only thing you would need would be pistons and rings to match the bore.

Well I think I am going to do that because the rebuild kits come with new pistons and stuff and you can get them a bore. So ill just go ahead and bore the block .30 and still do all the remainder stuff. How much more power am I going to get with it bored and all the other extras?

Boring it and putting pistons wont really add any power unless you have issues with your old piston/ring combo.
