You're not going to be able to get anything for these cars for less than $200. The first thing that you should do is a CAI (cold air intake) I noticed a difference the minute I put it on. Great first mod. I perfer the K&N. It's plastic and doesn't transfer the heat as bad as the metal ones.

IMO, about the best bang for the buck mod you can do for an otherwise stock 94Z is a cold air kit. A good one that most people like is the K&N FIPK. They can be bought for around $200. You can pick up a used one for typically around $125.

thats awesome, as long as thers a noticeable difference... I was thinking maybe the vinyl linked off this site would be cool... but eh, i figured thats a little "ricerish" I should worry about performance first eh?

PCM tuning from Madz28.com or Pcmforless.com. You will definitely feel an increase in power compared to CAI or other upgrades in that price range.

Yeah... didn't even think about that for ya. LOL!

It's not "ricerish" either

So long as you don't put like a "Supercharged" or "383 LT1" decal on the side of your stock Z28, I don't think I'd consider quality and classy vinyl graphics ricerish

I dont buy the CAI thing, on the dyno 3 hp was gained from a K&N, 4 from the SS one..... but then there was two stock Z's that put down more without a CAI.....

cut out was good for 8hp and 14ft lbs

So go with a cut out or cat back.
