Tubular k-member, lightened flywheel, carbon fiber driveshaft, remove interior paneling, go on a diet

Take out your carpet and padding, rear bumper support, manual steering rack, shave the extra threads off all the bolts.

can't lighten the flywheel.. its a flex plate and weight next to nothing as it is.

How would i go about removing the rear bumper support??

Tubular k-member, a-arms, and manual rack are possilbe for next year. Also maybe a set of hal's.. That should be close to another 75lbs

I do not want to strip the interior of the car.. right now it looks stock minous the back seats.. that way no-body really catches on how much weight has been pulled out.

take the carpet padding out, it weighs quite a bit. you cant see that its gone. there is also some padding behind the door panels, under the top of the dash.
swap in some racing seats.
AIR/EGR/EVAP systems
remove the rear speakers. keep the fronts.

You could remove the passenger side airbag.

how bout the speakers and associated wiring?

do you have power windows? convert to manual and ditch the window motors.

how bout the window washer fluid tank?

ditch the fuel tank and install a cell?

chromoly lca and phb, or even aluminum...i think someone makes those.

Yeah the airbags could go. I can't beleive you live in IL and removed the heater. If the heater and AC are gone remove the blower motor and heater core. Do you drive it in winter?

Also I was thinking about converting to header mufflers (turndowns?) and removing my heavy Y-pipe/catback exaust and tips to save some weight.

Also empty glove compartments, don't put more than half a tank of gas, port the heads, don't use double diamond subframe connectors are some uncommon suggestions I guess.

Oh and how about a lightened battery. Thunder racing has 13lb batteries, or just relocate it but the wiring adds weight.
