Mixing Valve Springs?

Is it alright if I mix stock springs with the ones that came with the LT4 hotcam package? I'll be running comp 1.6 roller rockers. This would only be temporary until I can get a "screw down" type of spring comressor. I cant seem to find one anywhere.

Not a good thing to do. Would you mix different lifters? Or run a long tube on one side and a shorty on the other?

How would you mix them? The hotcam has the same lift on intake and exhaust.
I think the stock springs will coil bind at .525 anyway.
