Mix and match plugs?

Im currently running ngk tr 55s and replaced everyone except for cyl #2 b/c somehow someway one of my new tr 55s up and ran away, so my question is this, can i put in say a .055 gapped Champion plug and have no problems. since no one near me carries TR series NGK plugs they would have to be ordered and i really can only work on my car on Sundays i wanted to drive it a little bit today or i have to wait another week to drive it b/c of this little thing called work that apparently takes up all the time in the world.
thanks!

It shouldnt hurt anything. Just replace the champion plug with an NGK as soon as you can. Ive worked on plenty of LT1/L98s that people have left the #5 and #7 plugs unchanged for god knows how long and the other 6 be a completly different brand. Hope that helps. Just change to an NGK when you can.

Also you might want to give Advance auto a call. They always have TR55s when I need them. They just dont advertise them like the Bosch or AC delco.

No problem man. Glad you got it taken care of. I wont buy parts anywhere but advance auto. I worked there in highschool and used ALOT of there parts on my first camaro and never had any issues. And there prices are decent. Anywho glad you got it rolling.
