Re: Miss under load - need some advice

the plugs shouldn't be fouled out because I just had them replaced and gapped properly less than a couple hundred miles ago. But I guess my wires are bad because I saw them arching, and its running like it did when they were fouled out

The code is telling you that one of the injector cricuits is faulty, but does not indicate which one. Most likely, an injector is not working. It's relatively easy to sort out. Key on, enigne off, check for 12V at the injector harness clip at each injector (clip off injector). Continuing with harness clip off injector, measure resistance across the two pins of the injector. Shoule be 12 - 15 ohms. If passes both these tests, with engine running, use a noid light to verify the PCM is supplying the ground required to fire the injector.

Plugs "foul" because they get soaked in gasoline and carbon up. Doesn't matter how old they are or when they were gapped, if it's been running rich enough.

Re: Miss under load - need some advice

thanks Injuneer I really appreciate the help and info. unfortunatley I'm away at school so I've got to wait until I come home for thanksgiving until I can sort through these issues.

I used to get close to 20 mpg city driving and now its barely geting 10 mpg so its really frustrating. and now i need to get new spark plug wires on top of whatever else i need to do...
