Miss and Detonation
Update:
I have having hard starts also and when it's stopped in gear ( Anything but N or P) it kinda of "drops a cylinder" every couple cycles. Not like a consistant miss, I already have that, but I mean dropping like a 2nd one once and a while. When it drops this extra one, the voltage and oil pressure drop a bit too, with the lights dimming also. RPM also "flutters".
I tried some intejector cleaner and such, and it lost its miss on highway driving but still bogged like hell out of the hole.
I am trying to get it scanned by a laptop ASAP. Who should I send the logs to?
Would an exhaust rattle that hits my "G load" brace and is really friggin loud cause a false knock, since the same time the rattle occurs its seems the motor boggs and detonates. I think this b/c it rattles at highways speeds and during a long highway trip is when this problem began. I got a LT4 KM since I am eventually going to need one.
Once again detonation occurs under load and temp at low RPM and the miss is always there.
Any new ideas
Dirty/Broken MAF?
Coil/Coil Module?
False Knock?

Twas the optispark. I replaced it yesterday and put on a new water pump and the problems are gone. I think I can get it to run a bit smoother by changing the plugs again and running some Castle Dragon Power in it. Since it ran with raw fuel from the miss for so long.
Let me know if anyone has any questions.
