miss after plug and wire change

my camaro has an intermittent miss at all rpms almost always when im on the gas sometimes itll miss sometimes it wont i changed my plugs and wires and no difference my car has 101k with the stock opti should i replace it? thx
o yea before and after the plug/wire change i got a random misfire code

Check the cylinder mis-fire counters and see if any are misfiring consistantly. Then try the inductive timing light trick to see if you can pick up on the misfire visually. I personally don't like to throw parts at a problem without first testing the parts I want to replace.

If it turns out when you check the counters to be purely random (not usually) then the hard work begins.
