I was on my thinking chair flipping through the Summit catalog when I stumbled onto this Milodon 18740 oil pump. It says "LT1 style high pressure and high volume". Below it is the SBC one that also says "high pressure and high volume". Anyone know why they list one as "LT1 style"?

3/4" inlet?

You don't need a high volume pump, it's just a waste of HP and over-aerates the oil.

 

Yes, 3/4", I just wasn't sure what "qualified" it as LT1 style.
