Might have 1.6 RR's not sure though??

Yesterday when i changed my transmission mount i found out it was a 1LE mount, and when I put an aftermarket elbow, i found out my throttle body had an airfoil. I think my car might have the 1.6 Crane Gold RR's. When i bought my Firehawk, it came with the original manual, and on the back the first owner, documented everything that he serviced, and on their he has written that he has the RR's, and also the above. Oh yeah it also came with K&N and HPP,and thermostat, and a Flowmaster with chrome tips. Also has had Royal Purple Synthetic all its life. Just to make sure i want to pull off one of the valve covers, but if i pull it off will i need to put a new valve cover gasket?? Any help appreciated.

No the valve cover gaskets are reusable, why you doing that? Just take the oil fill cap off & look at the insides, I don't think any LT4's came with 1.5 RR's, BTW if you take the oil fill cap off you'll see on it should be stamped 1.6 if its a 1.6 rr & 1.5 if its a 1.5rr

Matt.

Look inside the oil cap like bunker said and if you still want to take off a vavle cover for any reason the Driver's side will come off in less than 5 min.. the passanger side you have to remove the belt and alt. to get to it.
