Wondering if this is normal. After about 5 mins of idling after the install I touched the meziere and it was pretty hot. Wondering if this is right? I grounded it to the ground post on the block on the drivers side (where the other ground straps are). It is hooked up to a relay and the power wire is a 12ga.

 

I have a CSI, but it also seems to get fairly hot. It is pumping 180+ degree water, so I think it's farily normal. The outer casing is aluminum on the CSI, so it's going to transfer heat pretty readily.

Yea I guess I was jumping to a conclusion too quickly. I touched the waterpump housing and it was even hotter. I had a little air in the system, so I bled it. Gonna keep an eye on it to see whats up.
