Mechanical Oil pressure gauge.

Will air in the line going to the gauge throw off the reading? If so how do I bleed it all out?

EDIT: Air sorry.

that's how the gauge works. It measures the pressure of the oil in the line so if you remove the oil from the line, it will come right back. I hope that answers your question.

Just loosen the fitting on the gauge with the engine running until ya get steady drips of oil.

To answer your question, no. Air in the line will not alter the gauge's reading.

Yeah, it will be fine, no need to bleed it
