mean and loud muffler

i asked in a different thread, but i just have one question now. i have a stock exhaust with no muffler, so the rear section is a little bit like the loudmouth's rear section but with some different bends. it sounds pretty good right now, but i was wondering if it would be better to put a muffler in place where the loudmouth "muffler" goes. so basically like a dynomax bullet muffler mounted in the middle of the intermediate pipe(thats the pipe im thinking of correct?) i want it as loud and mean sounding as it gets but i dont want rasp or anything. also i dont want to spend a lot of money. would a dynomax bullet make it sound a lot different or what... any oppinions are appreciated.thanks

Re: mean and loud muffler

There are many people who have replaced their loudmouth resonator with a dynomax bullet resonator and were pleased with the results.

I personally wouldn't spend any money on stock tubing and would opt for a real mandrel bent catback. If your not concerned about perfomance though and just want to sound like you are, then your on the right track. I say go for it.

i have pacesetter lts to a 3" x pipe to 3" true duals with dynomax bullets and it so freakin loud. i love it mines a lil raspy when i first crank it up becuse i have no cats but if you still have cats then it should be perfect for what your looking for.
