Mcleod street twin PP vs. LT4 PP

Do any of you know what the difference is between the two PP's? I have a Street Twin(not installed) and it has the Borg and Beck style PP(three finger style) and I was wondering if the LT4 PP (on the car now) will work on the Street Twin?

If I didn't make it clear what I'm asking please let me know

Thanks,

Jerry

Ok, does anybody know where I can look to see if they are interchangable? I've tried calling Mcleod and it is a waste, on hold forever.

Thanks.

i don't think the "LT1" twin is interchangable w/ any other twin disk setup from Mcleod.. The pp on a LT1 twin is the same pp on your car now.. The difference between the traditional sbc twin and the lt1 are the flywheel's and the shimming to the proper height.. Call mcleod and ask for george.. Trust me its worth the wait they are not that big of a company but their customer service is among the best....

Is that a LTx specific Street Twin? My ST came with a standard Valeo pressure plate, and I've never seen a pull-type B&B PP.

Thanks for the reply's.

I bought the clutch used, the car it came off of was Z28 so I know it will fit, but I would rather use the valeo style pressure plate that I have on it now if that would work. I will try and talk to George tomorrow.

Thanks again.
