Mass Air flow sensor question

Mass Air flow sensor question

cant i just take out the screen that the stock mass airflow sensors have, it might flow more air with out it.

u guys know what im talking about ?

1994 trans am V8 has a mass air flow sensor right after the trottre body, and i noticed it has something inside looks like has ascreen looks like spiderweb, i think is there so nothing goes inside the ingine?

so if i take that out it might flow better?

Do a search on here about MAF sensors. You will find all the info you need to know. It has been a discussion here on a number of times.

Some people on here will tell you it's ok, some will say it's not a good idea. I have done it to mine and alot of my friends have done it with no problems. It's just really up to you.

Don't tear it up when you remove it and you will be able to put it back on if it does not run right. I doubt you will see any kind of performance difference.
