Map Sensor Question

I understand that the green connector from the engine harness is to be connected to the MAP. What is the red connector suppose to go? Right now, I have it loose and Im not sure where its suppose to go!

They look identical.

Re: Map Sensor Question

Look at Shoebox's wiring harness photo for a 1995. That may help. Appears the connector for the EVAP purge solenoid is red, and that would be near the MAP sensor.

Re: Map Sensor Question

kinda of a silly question, i dont have my factory manual infront of me, but isnt the 3.4L motor have a different harness and map sensor. I mean it should be the same function but I dont know if it varied between motors, or even years.

Why are you referring to a 3.4L engine, when this is LT1 Tech, and he has an LT1 in his "RS"?
