Manifold leak(?)
About a week ago I start up the Z and there's a kind of whistling sound. I rev it up a few times and I can hear the familiar tick of an exhaust leak. I've been fairly familiar with these since I got my SLP Y-pipe, but thought I had fixed it. So I thought it was the Y-pipe again, except it doesn't sound exactly the same. When I hit the gas, it sounds almost like the whistle of a blower or something. Now, after the car warms up, it's quiet and even the exhaust ticking is gone.
I pulled it in to one of the local muffler shops to just have the Y-pipe tightened again, and they said they think it's coming from the manifold. I had suspected this, but hoped it was just the Y-pipe. Is there any way to really verify this? My ears can't really tell where it's coming from, but I'd like find out for certain.
That being said, if it is the manifold that's leaking, I'll probably just get headers and be done with them.
Any ideas?

Did they say which exhaust manifold it was? Sometimes you can see carbon on the head if it's an exhaust manifold gasket leak. If you buy headers that will fix the manifold leak!
