^ actually it wasnt him who put the stroker. it was the previous owner. he had a shop in orange and rebuilt the engine with the stroker. i seriously dont know what to do. i paid 7500 for it and seriously dont know if i made the right decision. and i cant sell it either because whos going to buy a car with 216000 miles on it and supposebly have a 383 stroker with 16000 miles with no papers . i dont know guys
In reality this is like your 8th post asking the same question. Chill and actually do something instead of just assuming and believing everything you read.
Here is a quick and easy check to determine if it is a stroker (90 % correct). Most LT strokers will be internally balanced, therefore the Flex-Plate "will not" have a counter weight if it is a 383. Pull the dust cover off the trany and take a look.
Next would be to pull a head and measure the stroke (3.75") if it is a 383 stroker, 3.48" if it is a 350.

Your that kid who bought that car from someone who claimed it was a 383, it probably isn't since he had no proof...people always lie about **** like that w/ used cars to people they know don't know any better. 90% chance It's a stock LT1 throw long tubes on. BTW are you saying you lost to a stock LS1 I dont get your post at all....
