FWIW to the ORIGINAL question, GMHTP ran a bolt on LT1 issue a few months back, that should serve as a good guide. a full bolt on LT1, hell, even ones with less bolt ons as exhibited in that issue can run 12's. there are plenty of LT1 guys on this board running 12's with boltons or some variation of them.........

i have that issue. if i remember correctly that was a hell of a hot day when they tested those cars too.

if i can find it ill show anyone local if they like. a 12 sec lt1 is easy. heres what you need. intake, full ehaust, converter(if auto; 3:73 with a M6), sticky tires. and good driving


for the original poster who starting the thread im sorry i got it so out of hand. but your goal is an easy one. just use your basic boltons and you can do it.
