Maintenance questions after years of sitting.

Well, I finally got the 95 with 35k miles running and all back together, so I know you guys know what these engines like, so what oil, Coolant and how much coolant it takes, fuel filter, anything anyone else can think of after a few years I'd need to change out?

Dex-cool (the orange stuff) was the original antifreeze specified, to do a full drain you need to remove the knock sensor (lower RH side of block), and the LH block drain plug, in addition to draining the radiator. 50-50 mix of dex-cool and distilled water is recommended, so you probably will need to buy 2 gallons of dex-cool in order to have enough after dilution.

Oil- not going there, too many opinions to count. I currently run pennzoil platinum synthetic, but there's plenty of other good options.

PCV valve, O2 sensors might also be worth changing if old.

Dexcool was phase in during the 95 model year, so it could have come with the green stuff as well. It would have a sticker near the radiator fill, if it specified Dexcool. Nowadays you can buy coolant that is compatible with either type, so you would not need to purge the existing type completely, if you did not want to. Capacities are listed in the cooling system info on my website.

Have any prefered oil shoebox? And I'm almost positive it came with Dex cool, and the system is pretty much empty anyway since I swapped the opti out.

Fuel filter would be a good idea to change.

Where exactly is the amount? I see 50/50 but can't seem to find the amount.

I don't really have a preferred oil, other than I use Valvoline and Castrol products.

What did you do to eliminate rust that may have formed over the long period of non-use? Was the engine torn down and rebuilt ("..running and all back together")?
