I have an LT1 block that im rebuilding it was given to me the only problem with it is it is missing the #2 maincap i have a #2 maincap off a Gen1 350. My question is if i put that cap on my block could i get away with a line hone or would it need to be line bored?

 

it would have to be checked by a machine shop and mostlikely bored, but i am not a machinest
