Mail order tune after dyno run?

I have the car pretty much ready for a tune. My question is what would the mail order tune people need to know to give me the most accurate tune? I have a dyno in my area but they have no idea how to tune an LT1. My knowledge of tuning is almost zero but i want every ounce of power my car can give. I saw on T.V. the guys were adjusting there car & after each run were getting more horse power and ended up adding 60+ when it was all done. They had just installed a intercooler on there supercharged SS. You probably saw it to.

Tuning at the track will give you the most accurate results using live data while the car is under it's own load. A dyno tune would be your second best choice as long as the tuner knows what they're doing.
There has to be some sort of f-body orginization up near you that would know of a good place? I know Ellis (OneFlyn95z28) is in Wash. state. Don't think he lives too far away from you either.
If you haven't already, try the PNW forum on this board.

Do a couple of dyno runs with a wide band and send the graphs with your pcm when you get it tuned. It's the next best thing to a dynotune.

Before I was able to get a "live" tune, I sent my mod list and PCM to my mail order tuner. Then I went and had several dyno pulls and returned my PCM to the tuner with the graphs for fine tuning.

if you go to the www.pcmforless.com web site, they have the order sheet on there that asks all the things they need to know for the tune.

My current plan is to get it hooked up to a lap top and be able to send the data to them. I believe this would be the next best thing to having it at there shop with them tuning it themselves. I just need to do the research to see all i need.
