i did a search an nothing
are mahle pistons any good im looking to build my 355 and im looking for a good piston. are they as good as je. im using lunati 6" rods.
so would these pistons work in a lt1.
and a the lt1 rods and pistod the same as the old sbc.

The stock LT1 hypereutectic pistons are made in Brazil by Mahle. Whether a piston is "any good" will depend to a large extent on whether it is the correct one for your setup... hypereutectic, forged, forged with provisions for N2O, etc.. If it isn't the correct design, it isn't any good no matter who makes it. But Mahle makes a good piston, if you buy the right one for your application.
LT1 5.7" stock rods up to mid-94 were apparently the same as the old SBC1 "pink" rods. In mid-94 (earlier on the Corvette LT1's) GM switched over to a powder metallurgy (PM) rod that they claimed was stronger and cheaper to make than the "pinks".
