Magnaflow, mine was quiet till it had 2000miles then it started getting loud. After the Jet Hots, ORP, no cats it was like a straight pipe when I got on it .

Ijust bought my magnaflow catback from exhaustproslinc.com for $320 for my LS1 TA. I think it is the best compromise between lasting finish, performance, and price, thats what sold me! SteveO love you clip nice Z, reminds me of my 96

Terlox i tried sending you a pm but your box is full.

How do you like your gmmg catback compared to the hooker? I have a hooker catback jet hot lt headers and cats and it not that loud to me. Do you have headers? Is the gmmg alot louder then the hooker? I've been thinking of getting the gmmg (correction) for a long time now. Im not to worried about power more on sound. My car doesn't sound all that mean to me. Do you have any soundclips?

Thanks

mike

Dude, the GMMG is noticeably louder at idle, cruise, and WOT than the Hooker system. Just a very deep and mean (but tuned) sound throughout the entire rpm range. Do a search under the names Indy93Z28 and Mikey97z for sound clips of their GMMG systems (that also include headers and a cam). Really great sound IMO.

And even though I don't have an LT1, the GMMG on my car (LS1) sounds waaaaay more aggressive than the Hooker on my friend's LS1 Formula if that tells ya anything. Now just apply that same approach to both systems for your motor...

I was doing some searching last night on this system and found those soundclips you just mentioned. Im going to wait a few months and get this system. It was my first choice to begin with when i first got my car. I was worried about the price. The hooker cb is the second cb i have bought (borla was first) and im still not completely satisfied.

thanks man
