MAF Problems

Posted on this a few days ago but didn't have the code. Went to autozone and had the car scanned. It read a code P0100. Something about a MAF malfunction. What do I need to do. Shoebox said something about checking for a full 12V on the pink wire. Is it that, or does the MAF need complete replacement?

Re: MAF Problems

Why not just continue the old thread instead of starting another just like it?

Did you check the voltage? You have to do some troubleshooting, man.

Re: MAF Problems

Didn't think about continuing the thread, was on my way to class. As far as the voltage, I've been at school so I have no way to check it. I just remember you needed the code so I didn't know if you could tell just by checking that or what. I guess that'll be the first thing I do when I get home on Thursday.

Re: MAF Problems

Checked the voltage in the pink wire just a few minutes ago and it's running full voltage (13.2 to be precise). I guess this means it's not a wire problem and I need to replace it?
