MAF problem
MAF problem
Ok, replaced my o2's and my plugs thinking it was causing the hesitation (real bad), because that was what it was last time. the header on the passenger side had worked its way loose, so i thought for sure i just smoked the o2's. well i bolted in the header, replaced the o2's and the plugs....still hesitating, and bucking in drive sitting at the light. so i looked at the MAF reading after all this trouble today and its sitting steady at 2.4 g. so the MAF isn't working at all. i know there is a fuse inline that may be blown (i had a small fire that burnt some wires and blew that fuse before)...also the unit may be no good. i just replaced it though about a year ago (the MAF)....so i think its a good unit. if the MAF was bad wouldn't i get SOME kind of movement on the scanner? also where the hell is the fuse for the MAF? if the fuse is good, i guess i just have to buy a new MAF and hope that is the problem. because it sure isn't working. i disconnected it, and it seems to run the same....but a little better. may just be chance, because plugged in or not plugged in it reads 2.4 steady.

I dont think there is a fuse for the MAF.... I may be wrong, but never heard of one, you may want to check your wires and plugs out.....

its inline between the MAF and the computer somewhere, in a hidden place since in can't find it. although i may be wrong of course. also i have the computer retuned and i NEVER get SES lights for anything. also, last time the MAF was bad i got no SES light for it either.
