MAF Help

I just pulled a DTC 48 code, which is a MAF code. I tested the wiring as per the service manual and it indicates that the sensor is bad. Datamaster indicates that the AFGS runs about 17-60 (mostly ~17), but does not exactly follow engine RPM.

Symptoms are high idle and slight surges and slight power loss. I'm not sure exactly how the AFGS reading should behave, but I'd kind of like to make sure.

Any ideas? Time for a new MAF?

Air flow grams/sec at idle will typically be 6 to 9gps. At WOT, 5800rpm, you might see 240gps. Have you seen my scanner writeup?
