Post Made it to the track finally...

Took the ole SS to the track Sunday and ended up running a 11.9@116. No weight removed(3650lbs) at all and car is still getting 7-13 degrees of KR from 3k and up. If I ever get around to dyno tuning her I think I'll be even more pleased with the results..

This is a totally streetable 383 that I drive everywhere and it has never given me any problems..I still appreciate Mr. Lloyd Elliot for his great work on my heads..I asked him to port me a set of heads that would be VERY streetable(high low lift #'s) and would still be a fairly quick car thats fun to drive. Well, I couldnt have asked for a better job done because I drive this car on 3hr trips turn around and bust off an 11 sec pass then drive her home still getting 18mpg Car drives like stock cept for the extra added 150hp.

12,xxx miles and going on the 383 and I couldnt be happier!

Nice #'s, with some more tuning to get that knock out, you should pick up a few tenths more.

Rock on .

Some weight reduction and tuning and you'll trap 118.5 easy. Add some cold weather and you'll have the elusive 120mph trap .

Take care man - we gotta hangout next time I'm up!

Sounds good Ryan..give me a shout next time your up.

I may do a few weight reductions but I like running' the car just like it is on the street.
I also need to get a new y-pipe made since mine isnt Mandrel bent(its pinched down in the curves) Hopefully that will give me a few more ponies along with getting her tuned.
