M6 guys running spray, please read!

Hey guys, I ordered my nitrous kit today, wet. I am going to order a harlan windows switch tomorrow as well. I have a couple of questions:

1) my car is mostly stock, mods in sig, what do you think I should set the window switch to?

2) I plan on running a WOT and window switch, but was wondering is there any way to rig up the system to come on only in second gear +. I don't think first gear, 4.10s, N20 and Nittos or street tires would get along!

3) How much timing, compared to stock, are you guys running for a 125 shot (maybe 150)? Can I keep an agressive timing curve upto the window switch activation RPM, then take it back 3 deg. or so, then bump it back up after the kill RPM on the window switch.

I was thinking have it come on at 3800 RPM or so, come off at 5700, shift light at 5800 RPM. Sounds Ok? Thanks guys.

You would have better luck posting this in the n2o forum. But i'll try to give ya my recommedations. Mine is set on at 3k off at 6k. shift lite at 6k. Since I did cam and headers, i'm gonna have the off at 6200 and shift at 6300, not sure how its gonna work but thats where i'm gonna start. Far as the engaging at 2nd gear, not sure, alot of tricky wiring I'm guessing. I spray bout 15-20ft. out of the hole on a 150 shot with 4.10's, drag radials. When I feel it hook I hit the juice. I pulled a 1.89 with SEVERE wheel hop. Got lower c/a 's now, hopefully that will fix that. If your on the stock rear, prob. wont last long at all, depends on what u launch at. I usually dump clutch at bout 4-5k, depending on track prep. Far as timing, I'm pulling no timing at all I've run bout 15-20 bottles on the 150 shot with no probs at all, stock fuel system I'm no pro, but thats my view on it, good luck!!

Thanks. I'll post on the N2O forum tomorrow. Yes, its 10 bolt, and its my third set of gears. They are used gears, were $80 total investment so that is why I am doing it. Just curious, how hard does it hit when it comes on? Once you hook up, and it comes on, it does not brake the tires loose again? Thanks for your reply, I just wanted to hear from some guys running N20 and M6 LT1s. Right now, my timing is 2 deg. advanced almost accross the entire board. So I was thinking of pulling it 3 deg. just to be safe. Thanks a lot!

I don't pull any timing at all either. But why would you not spray it in first? Get some traction mods and spray it out of the hole
I have an MSD window switch set to 3000 and 5400. Don"t forget, you are making the most torque at the activation rpm, so you really don't need to rev that thing to 6000 if it's stock.
