Like mentioned above, Mac's are midlenths. (Don't know why it says shorties) As far as power goes, I put down 275hp and 308torque. Mods are:CAI, Mac's, Flowmaster catback/cutout, PCMforless tuning. It's also an Automatic.

Thanks all for the posts ive gotten some great info.......So anyone answer if Jet hot is the coating comapany or the actual header?

Nevermind i hit the link and seen that jet hot actually DOES the coating for hooker, pacesetter, mac and more. I will totaly not be wasting my time with the shorties after reading these posts. I live in Michigan where we have no emissions control. Im looking into the Mac mid lengths. I think from all your great feed back that may get me to my goal, low 12's with the cam/stal/rocker package.

I run 12.46 @ 113mph with Hooker shorties, stock I-pipe, bolt ons, and cam. I am a 6spd.

Low 12s should be no problem with a CC306, converter, and any headers.
