LT's cause me to run rich?

I just got my Hooker LT's installed about 1 1/2 weeks ago. It sounds like i have a exhaust leak somewhere. When i dyno'ed my car i was running very rich. I was in the low 11 a/f ratio to mid 10 a/f ratio up top. I know i should be somewhere around 13 a/f at wot. I'm gonna go ahead and get a mail order tune on my car. Will that fix my problem of running so rich? When you go from manifold to LT's will that cause a car to run rich?

Exhaust leaks before the O2 sensors can cause a rich condition. Misfires from burned wires can cause a rich condition. Poor quality sensor extensions, if used can add to the problem. It isn't the LT's that cause the problem, its the problems associated with the install that can cause it.

Okay now i see. Thanks for the help. Its really hard to find out why my car is running so rich. I checked all the wires and they look good and none of the cylinders are misfiring when i scanned it. I hear a ticking sound so i know there is a leak somewhere but i don't know how to figure out from where it is coming from.

Use a small piece of vacuum hose to check for exhaust leaks. It's probably a leaking header or collector gasket.

How do you use a small piece of vacuum hose to check for exhaust leaks?

My car developed a tick after the install, and it was a loose plug.

My car is also adding a lot of fuel when cruising, but I can find no exhaust leaks.
