LTCC Setup

Dirty engine bay but the new ignition setup makes the dirty motor run very smooth

Looks good. Now get some fire sleeves before you burn through those suckers in the next 10 minutes. LOL.

I was thinking the same thing-

I would also cut-off the extra 5" of metal on those band clamps on your air intake tube as well...

haha that clamps long enough eh? how it was when i bought it. long way to go on fixing sdtupid **** like that

How old were the plugs wires cap and rotor???

Most people talk about how great ignition "upgrades" are without ever stopping to consider it was WORN PARTS they replaced.

well opti was bad in it and the plugs were fowled as well. this is my 3rd lt1 Z and this system deff helps this car a ton over a good condition opti system

You could not have made my point any better if you had actually been trying to make my point.


First thing I did to my car years ago was a Jacob's ignition box and wires I swore it was great. In hindsight all it did was wear out wires and plugs and cause me to chase phantom problems. A year and a half later when I took it off all the phantom problems went away.
