Lt4 Starter Installation Issues
HI EVERYBODY,
I bought a lt4 starter cause my stock lt1 starter bit the bullet. My mechanic called me up and told me it's the wrong one and that it won't fit in cause of the headers. Is this not a direct bolt in starter, or are their gonna be issues since i have slp headers? anyways, i need my car back, so i told him to go ahead and put in a lt1 starter
so what's up with the installation issues?
Thanks

Re: Lt4 Starter Installation Issues
Very well could have clearance issues. I bought an LT4 starter for an Impala SS with longtube FLP headers, and it wouldnt fit because of those headers. I ended up pulling the lt1 off my car, putting it on the imp, and taking the lt4 for mine (hookers)
