is the LT4 pressure plate better than a McLeod one?

is the LT4 pressure plate better than a McLeod one?

i can get them for about the same price but i'm not sure which one is grippier

If i'm not mistaken they are the same.. .Due to the type of setup us LT1's car's have.. Their isn't really that big a selection of PP's and VALEO is the only one that they all use.. THe PP isn't going to affect "grippiness" as say a ceramic pucked disk would..

Which MCLeod are you talking about?
I have the Twin-Disc set-up and I can tell you, it's pretty darn grabby. I doubt the LT4 set-up would come close to it.

i used the lt4 it has a little more clamping force than the lt1 pp. i was there to witness the test and i think it was 12 lbs more clamping force. and ive had good luck with it, but i had weights added to mine to add more clamping force. it up to you.

Im pretty sure most the pressure plates are the same, including the twin disk. The twin disk is just slightly modified to alow for extra clearance.

yep, i called mcleod earlier and the guy said valeo makes just about everyone's pressure plates
