Lt4 knock module

Lt4 knock module

Is this something worth doing or not?

Yes. If you have roller rockers or noise from those headers your stock module can interprit it as knock and pull timing.

Shoe, is there a way to tell if your getting false knock, and am I remembering correctly that the PCM has to programmed for the LT4 module?

A scanner and close observation should tell you. No programming.

I'd stick with the stock and get a tune. If you think you have false knock download TTS datamaster and do some datalogging 9you get 20 free runs), then throw in some 110 octane and see if there is any difference.

I get less knock readings using the stock module.
I'll sell you an LT4 module that was used for 30minutes..shoot me an offer.

I am waiting for my cable to come in and I will start looking into the stuff. I downloaded the software and you can do more than 20 runs if you know computers a little bit like me. Just need to make sure you clear everything off and out of the registry and you should be good to go. i am sure I will have lots of questions.
