I have been putting this mod off for so long because the dealerships want highway robbery for these things. Where is the best and cheapest place to get an lt4 knock module from. I know I need one as I have headers/cam/roller rockers/heads,and double roller timing chain even though my tune is desensitized for knock. Info is appreciated

 

Look on ebay.
I paid $40.00 a few years ago.

 

If not Ebay, I'm about 99% sure SummitRacing.com carries them, pretty reasonable. I don't go through dealers for anything really, except for when I replaced some of my window and door lock switches, and it was still an online Gm Parts dealer.

 

Why not get a GM only part from the people that give us the big discounts on GM parts.

Shoebox's parts list show it at less than $28 (might have gone up a few bucks lately?). Why would you go to a dealer and pay list prices, or even the prices they are asking on eBay, when everyone here uses the people listed in the link above?
