Question LT4 Knock module

I was wondering if there is a way to tell when your knock module is pullimg timing?

i did have a pcm tune by ion, but i don't think i had desensitises
it when he did my tune

i would just like to know what to look for if it begins to happen.

A scanner or scan software will allow you to monitor the knock retard that the PCM is applying, based on feedback from the knock sensor.

Yes... hook up a scanner. One of the things you can scan in the PCM is "knock retard"..... A ScanMaster would do this very well. Knock Retard is the default display.

While driving at WOT, sudden knock retard will be a very noticable loss of power - some people will perceive it as a "miss" or "surge". Shows up very clearly on a dyno pull as weel. A nice little "valley" in the torque and power curves.
