I am about to install my cutout and am curious if it is possible for the cutout to cause any knock retard, the car has the stock manifolds and a Borla y-pipe, thats about it. I have heard that headers and valvetrain changes cause knock retard, but if the cutout alone will not then I dont want to spend the 40 dollars (College budget)! Thanks.

 

I highly doubt a cutout will cause any knock...for 27 bucks from gm and 2 minute install why not
