a friend of mine has a 95 lt1 camaro he said he replaced the knock sensor or the knock module with the lt4 moudle or sensor and it ran a lot smoother whick one should i replace the sensor or module? or both sorry if this is a repost

 

LT4 Knock Module - a chip that inserts in the PCM, and filters the signal from the knock sensor. If you have false knock, it may eliminate knock retard, eliminating power loss due to ignition timing retard. If you don't have knock retard, it won't do anything.
