Lt4 Hotcam Or Cc305?
Have both cams and fixing to do my re-build, but I am wondering, which cam should I put back in the car? I would like to go bigger but I cant afford that yet, so which one?

Let me ask this, can the cc306 be used with stock heads and 1.5rr's? I might sell these cams and look into the cc306 or gm847!

The 305 is great actually.... has a real nice lope to it. My thinking is.... if I have the 305 and the LT4 hotcam, why not sell the two and get a cam thats bigger and better since I have the shortblock out? agree?
I think the CC305 is a pefect match for stock heads.
Personally, you see comparable times from the CC305 and the XE224/230 and other larger cams on stock heads.(except the custom grinds, but they normally require specific other valvetrain components.)
If I were you, I'd sell the Hotcam and the 1.5 RR's and buy a set of 1.6RR's and springs. That will get you a decent boost in HP with the CC305, and maybe a little more lope. Then if you ever did heads/cam, you have the 1.6RR's already.
Just my thoughts.
