lt4 hot cam kit guys, enter please

i have had this hot cam kit and put about 5,000 miles on it. i just recently heard the valve train get louder and noticed some lost performance. so me and my brother pulled the valve covers and found some rockers a little loose, but what concerned me is the center part of the rockers where the bearings are i found most of them had what looked like aluminium shavings in some grease coming out of there. have any of you guys noticed this or heard of this happening?

about 20,000 miles and no problems either. How many turns did it take to get to zero lash? Were they installed correctly?

no, no hardened pushrods. im not sure how many turns it took to zero lash on install, b/c i had a shop do it. but when i checked them the ones that were loose only took at most a 1/4 turn. i cant understand why that stuff would be coming out?

The roller bearings could be breaking down inside the arms.

You might check the valve covers for wear, make sure that the arms are not rubbing.

Then take an arm off and work the bearing by hand, if it feels rough the bearing is bad.

If you don't find anything else causing this the arms should be pulled and rebuilt / replaced.

Sucks should not be happening.
