kooks headers

I can't seem to find a place that sells kooks 1 7/8 to 3 1/2" headers. Does anybody have a place that sells them and what can you do about a y-pipe for the 3 1/2" collector?

Re: kooks headers

Are you going huge displacement motor or built motor with F/I? If not. Save your money and just order a set of Hookers

nitrous cars love big primarys. There website must be down right now, keeps telling me page not found. They do make a header with a 3", but they also make one with a 3 1/2".

Re: kooks headers

Yeah 600 or more HP NA needs a bigger header than 1 3/4.

Re: kooks headers

So what are your thoughts on their 1 3/4" stepped to 1 7/8" for a 650+ rwhp blown 383? Hopefully it isn't negative since they should be delivered sometime this week.

BTW, Speed Engineering, Tbyrne, and Scoggin Dickey sell them.

Shouldn't be ANY problem if ya got the spike collector. Will make plenty of HP.They make a "Y" pipe for the Z too.
Burns recommended for mine 1-3/4=1-7/8=2" with their necked down merge collector to the tune of $1500.00 for the kit and my fab shop want' $700.00 to fit and weld them. I am thinking of being satified with a custom set of Kooks after talking to Papa George.
