Do some research on here for cam set ups. You will quickly see what has to be replaced.

There are much better choices than the hotcam too.

On the subject, you HAVE to change out springs and spring hardware.
However, most people do springs, roller rockers, pushrods, lifters. Up to you.
Now to add on to what the others are saying. The hotcam is rather small, if you want a small jump with no low rpm surge then that'll be nice, but if you want to make 320rwhp you'll need something bigger like the cc503 which is a popular choice. I chose a bigger cam than most recommend which was the cc306. It is considered too big for stock heads, but I plan on getting LE2 heads soon, and with stock heads revving to 6200 getting 330rwhp (damn a4) is damn good for a cam talked down on soo much.

BS - there is plenty of power to be had with a hotcam.

You can make 320 easy with a HK. You will want some long tube headers as well as a y-pipe/ catback

320 RWHP Is easy to get out of a good hotcam setup. I love the hotcam it is great it is perfectly street mannered and loves eating cam-heads-small shot mustangs all day long. Look into a good set of springs the LT4 springs are OK but there are plenty of choices that are better. A good set of roller 1.6 rockers will really help as well and are recommended. Good luck with the setup and keep us posted.
