LT4 hot cam

ok, ive got a third gen, but my intake is kinda like the LT1 intake so i thought maybe i could get some ideas from here too

Is anyone running the LT4 hot cam on stock heads? i should be putting the cam in this weekend or next, so im wondering what kind of power im going to be making, does anyone have dyno sheets or timeslips? also what other mods do you have and is it an auto or 6 speed? thanks in advance

You might want to try the third gen section.

The hotcam is a small camshaft and is a popular cam to use on stock LT1 heads.

Re: LT4 hot cam

1995 Camaro- automatic, Midwest 2800 stall, B&M shiftkit/transcooler, aluminum driveshaft, K&N intake, Meziere electric waterpump, LT4 HOTcam, homeported heads, stock bottom end, SLP 1 3/4" mids, off road Y-pipe, Flowmaster exhaust.

8.1 @87 mph first time out with PCMforless tuning. It was a notoriously slow track, and I was shooting for a 7.8 or 7.8 at the 1/4 mile on the way to mid/low 12's at the end but never made it up there.

Did 333 rwhp on a superflow dyno (whatever the hell that is).

^^^^^ old setup.

By stock heads you mean stock L98 heads right? What do they flow in comparison to LT1 heads and what rocker are you using.

I put down 334 RWHP with AS&M mids, 3" custom catback with a single bullet, hotcam kit, M6, K&N FIPK, dynotune.
