Same clutch disk as the lt1 has a stronger pressure plate. I hear people using them all the way up to 400 hp.

im too lazy to go down and look and see if it doesnt have springs.. but im 99% sure it doesnt.. thats why u cant use the LT4 disc with a LT1 pressure plate.

My car had more than 400hp at the fly and the clutch would hold 1 full run fine. But if i stopped immediately and tried to do it again it would slip... By 1 full run i mean zero to 120mph.

It didnt slip if i was going through 1st and 2nd alot...

I jsut put a new one in because mine was shot after 15k. Now the new one is barely holding.

I will be going with the LT4 PP and the single disk McCleoud next.

buy the LT4 clutch disc and pressure plate together.. and it will/should come with a throw out bearing. Also pick up a pilot bushing to replace your old one. Total should be 300-350.
LT4s will hold 400hp no problem and they bolt up fine to an LT1 car
