LT1's here I come

Well I reentered the Camaro community saturday when I purchased a 1996 Z28, black with t-tops and a hurst 6 speed. Anyway 600 bucks later it should be running right after a SES light and misfire, brakes, exhaust leak blah blah blah. Anyways what times can I expect with this model year, hooker headers, borla catback, and a G2 CAI? Low 14's?

If you got it running right, you should be able to hit 14 flat all day, and going good, high 13's. All depends on your launch.

Get rid of that G2 CAI, and get yourself a Moroso, SLP, or Lingenfelter CAI. Much better flow. The G2 is crap, IMO.

G2 isnt all that good? Doesn't surprise me with this car. I found it out in the sticks, and its pretty hicked up. The wiring looks like a monkey did it, and they were polishing the car when i came into shop while it had dirt on it.... lol. Mid 13's with good driving? Thanks guys, all I have to do is get use to the competition clutch thats in it.

Ditch the G2 for sure. With those mods, 13.5-13.8 on street tires and probably 13.3-13.4 on drag radials. It takes good driving but its not that hard. Get really good and drive yourself to possibly lower E.T.s, but mid 13s for sure.
