LT1 won't start

LT1 turns over, hits a few times, but never starts. Any advice?

Fouled plugs, pull a plug and check it.
Low fuel pressure, put a gage on it.

FIrst, check your fuel pressure, it should be about 40PSI with the vacuum line attached to the fuel pressure regulator and about 47PSI with the vacuum line taken off of the FPR. Then check for spark. Let us know what happens when you do those two tests and hopefully we'll be able to give you some better direction from there.

Have you scanned it for codes?

I'm thinking it may be the opti as well.

I have scanned it for codes and it didn't pull any up. Is it possible for the opti pigtail to go bad?

check all your coil wires they tend to crack and corrode have someone wiggle them when you fire it up.

If the pins are corroded or damaged it can corrupt the Opti high and low res pulse signals. That can cause a no start. But it should also set codes. What year is your LT1 engine and LT1 PCM?

94 for them both. I don't see any corrosion. On this model opti, the opti-spline is keyed, but is it possible to be 180 deg. out?

Its very easy to align the splines incorrectly. Many people manage to get it installed with the "odd" tooth in the wrong position. What did you use to scan for codes?

I forget the name of the program, but it is on my brothers laptop. He also tuned the VATS out of the computer with it.
